What is Anusara Yoga

Anusara yoga is a new style developed by John Friend in 1997. It is a Hatha yoga system and has the philosophy that everything is supreme Consciousness and nothing exists that is not supreme Consciousness. Each person is seen as equally divine in every part body, mind, and spirit. You are regarded as essentially good, so there is a lot of acceptance and allowance in this system for difference and deviation.

It is an all-inclusive yoga in which each students, various unique abilities and limitations are deeply honored, and is one of the fastest growing schools of Hatha yoga in the world.
